You may have noticed that there is a little qualifier at the bottom of each page. If you add up the apparent filesizes in the contact sheets, you may also notice that there is nowhere near 25 GB of stuff on each disc, despite each BD-R being (apparently) filled to the brim. Why is this?
This archive, as it exists right now, is run by a fan of the people being recorded. It exists in a grey area in terms of copyright. On the one hand, this is technically piracy, as this is the work of someone else being put up for free. Anyone who feels their copyright is being infringed could theoretically come and sue this site into the ground, destroying the archive. Even the defense that Fred Rogers used to save the VCR, that the recorder is simply being used for time-shifting, doesn't work so well; torrents take a long time, and by the time they arrive here, it has been months since the original event happened.
On the other hand, many of these streams are simply unavailable in their full form today. Lewdtubers VOD arhives are not universal, and many choose to upload edited versions of the stream, trimming out the fat. The original VODs have their own value, and as such they should be posted in as full a form as possible.
To keep as many people happy as possible, I have taken the decision to implement a blacklist. People in this blacklist may still be recorded, written to BD-R, included on private versions of the archive - but torrents for them will not be posted publicly, entries for them will be ommitted from public versions of the disc archives, and torrents and magnet links for them will be made hard to access, if at all accessible.
These criterion will be used for determining if a lewdtuber's archived VODs remain private; a sort of moral code, if you will:
In addition, at the request of any Lewdtuber or VTuber, specific VODs may be taken down from the listing to limit further propogation.
Currently, the blacklist consists of these names:More will be added if requested or learned. Becky, for instance, was initally offered publicly before it was discovered she kept her VODs behind a paywall. However, due to the futile nature of stopping a torrent and how the blacklist is implemented - being hardcoded into the script which generates the pages - the blacklist will only apply to pages generated after a name is added. If there are an egregious number of VODs which are violating the blacklist, all pages of the archive will be re-generated to limit the spread of these VODs.
The easiest way would be to use IRC. Message 'rwall' in the #recanon channel on the irc.rizon.net network. This can be done without signing up for an account - although I would recommend registering your name, so some other user doesn't try to impersonate you. Alternatively, you could leave a comment on this page, though you will have to sign up for a Neocities account. E-mail might be forthcoming once a suitable address is found.
